Summary:

Reporting to and at the direction of the Director for Spiritual Care, this position is to provide complete administrative support for the Director of the Holy Family Hospital Clinical Education Program and Center, as well as for the Spiritual Care Department and the Ambassadors Department. 

Job Description: 

*  Provides administrative oversight for the Ambassadors Program including monitoring of orientation, training, on-boarding, background checks and support for ambassadors completing their services. Prepares all materials for the start of each Clinical Pastoral Education Unit.
*  Provides general administrative support of the Clinical Pastoral Education Center including support for the preparation ACPE five and ten year reviews and re-accreditation, as necessary.
*  Provides administrative support of the Spiritual Care Department including preparing and publishing the schedules for Celebrant of the noonday mass, prayer leaders for the praying of the Rosary, overnight Sacramental coverage and daily Eucharistic Ministers.
*  Provides administrative support for the Protestant, Hispanic and staff chaplains including reporting of hours and support of the relationship with Communities Together, Inc.
*  Develops their skills in Microsoft Office, Meditech 6 and keeps current with all internal Steward training.
*  Provides administrative support for the Ambassadors Program including monitoring of orientation, training, on-boarding, background checks and support for ambassadors completing their service.
*  Receive direction from the Department Director, report on progress, identify problems and suggest solutions.
*  Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability for times of high workload and times of low workload.
*  Demonstrates self-supervision in making productive use of time during low administrative workload to provide spiritual care in the role of staff chaplain.
*  Provides support for special chapel and spiritual care events including working relationships with other hospital departments and leaders.
*  Works to enhance the reputation and efficacy of the CPE, Spiritual Care Departments and the Ambassadors Program.
*  Time management, self-direction, especially under pressure.
*  Online skills, including Microsoft Office, searching the Internet and using web based sites and applications such as Meditech 6 for patient charting and reporting.
*  Receive direction from the Department Director, report on progress, identify problems and suggest solutions.
*  Be prepared to work at either the Methuen or Haverhill campus as directed.
*  Maintains confidentiality.
*  Communicates the mission, ethics, and goals of the facility, as well as the focus statement of the department.
*  Represents the hospital in a positive and professional manner.  Exhibits a polite, respectful and professional manner with all staff, patients and visitors.  Demonstrates a willingness to provide exceptional care.

Qualifications:

*  Excellent Administrative and Organizational Skills as well as time management skills
*  Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office.
*  Excellent interpersonal skills in an interfaith setting and working with the public.
*  Proven ability to receive direction, work as a member of a busy integrated team and yet with a high degree of personal autonomy.
*  Availability 24 hours a week, weekdays between 9:00am and 2pm.
*  High School Graduate or GED required, college level of education is desirable.
*  The ability to greet, and extend a hospitable presence to ambassadors, staff, students and patients is important. 
*  The ability to work under pressure, to meet deadlines and suggest process improvements is desirable.
