Job Description

Job Summary:
The RN is responsible for providing direct patient care based on the nursing process within assigned work periods.  He/she functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes consistent with the comprehensive plan of care.  The RN participates in activities to achieve clinical, financial and organizational outcomes.

Minimum Education Requirements:
Associate’s degree or diploma from an accredited school of nursing.  BSN strongly preferred.

Minimum Experience:
For specialty areas, related experience and qualifications may be required.

Other skills and abilities:
Knowledge of nursing process, social, behavioral and biological sciences normally acquired via approved nursing program.  Able to provide age and culturally specific care to the population served.  Ability to analyze data, to synthesize and summarize information and to make judgements regarding patient care.

Equipment/Software/Certification/License:  MA RN license and BLS.

 

Sign on bonus:

$5,000.00 ($2,500 after six months; $2,500 after one year of employment) Must be hired to work on the evening or night shift.
2  years RN experience, 1 year ED/Critical Care nursing required to be eligible for the bonus.
