2-3 years experience in a fast pace endoscopy suite able to work in procedure room for all procedures, disinfect and reprocess endoscopes according to manufacturer requirements, BLS required
five eight hour shifts 7-3:30
Job Summary

Position Summary:
The Endoscopy Technician acts as the primary assistant at the field assisting the Endoscopist performing the endoscopy procedure on patients of all ages. 
Key Reponsibilities: 

-Provides care that addresses the specific needs of age groups from infant to elderly.
-Customize to a variety of needs specific to impairments such as hearing, sight, substance abuse, non-english speaking, and potential victims of abuse.
-Incorporates knowledge and understanding of our commitment to patient rights, our value statement, mission statement, code of ethics, and patient responsibilities into the performance of job responsibilities.
-On call required

Required Knowledge & Skills:

This position requires exemplary interpersonal skills and the ability to perform as a part of a multi-disciplinary team instilling a positive cohesive spirit to insure customer satisfaction. Must have working knowledge  with scopes in the upper and lower GI tact and experience working with GI Physician.

Education: 
High School Diploma
Experience:
2 to 3 years of experience in Endo
Certification/Licensure:
CPR
