The graduate nurse resident (GN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of care under the direct supervision of a RN. The graduate nurse assumes the responsibility and accountability for the delegation of patient care to other members of the health care team. This is a 12 week program where the graduate nurse resident is in the classroom a portion of the time and working on their specified unit(s) the other portion of the time.
Education: Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
Experience: Minimum 1 year clinical experience preferred.
Licensure: Current Florida or Multistate license, or letter stating can practice as a graduate nurse
