Provides care to patients older adult behavioral health patients performing all functions in a professional and ethical manner. Collaborates with other health care team members to ensure quality patient care. . The RN utilizes the nursing process, the environment, and other health care resources to meet the physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of all patients assigned.
Graduate of accredited School of Nursing. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in good standing from the State of Pennsylvania required. BSN or matriculation into a baccalaureate program preferred.
Behavioral health experience preferred.
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required. A thorough knowledge of nursing principles, procedures, and their application required. Excellent communication skills required. Must complete and maintain required departmental competencies. Annual Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) training required
