St. Luke’s Behavioral Health Center has been providing behavioral health services since 1969. Our staff provide compassionate care using a holistic approach to children, adolescents, adults and seniors who require psychiatric and substance use care. Located in the heart of Phoenix, the Behavioral Health Center has 127 inpatient beds, a full spectrum of both inpatient and outpatient services, and an additional 20 inpatient geriatric beds located at Mountain Vista Medical Center in Mesa. We offer a fast-paced environment and the opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team working alongside underserved populations coping with complex behavioral health needs at varying levels of acuity.
The admitting supervisor is responsible for supervising and directing functions involving inpatient admissions, outpatient surgeries registrations and emergency room registration functions in accordance with hospital policies and procedures. Admitting supervisor also assists with training new employees and ensures hospital policies are in compliance.
High School Diploma or GED required.
- Min. 1-3 years of experience required
-Prior hospital and/ or registration experience required.
- Insurance verification and customer’s service experience required.
- QA experience and knowledge of billing processes necessary.
- Competence and ability to organize and prioritize assignments, computer experience required.
- Minimum typing skills of 45 wpm; must have excellent listening, communication and public relation skills.
