About Mountain Vista Medical Center

Mountain Vista Medical Center is a 178-bed, state-of-the-art hospital located in east Mesa, Arizona, offering comprehensive health care services, including emergency care, heart care, advanced surgical procedures, orthopedics, breast care, maternity care, and women’s services. Florence Hospital, a campus of Mountain View Medical Center, is a 36-bed hospital offering emergency care, as well as surgical, imaging and laboratory services to residents of Pinal County. Our patients have access to a full range of excellent health care across our two campuses.

Position Summary:

Responsible for direct and in direct patient care within scope of practice. Responsible to assist physician in preparation of all invasive line monitoring, including the handling of sterile supplies and maintenance of a therapeutic environment.

Minimum Education:

High School Diploma/GED and On Job Training from qualified Technician

Minimum Experience:

1-3 years of experience

2 or more years experience highly preferred

Required SKILL SET:

Able to work under pressure; Hours of duty may be irregular or unexpectedly extended due to the requirements of the daily surgical schedule; Calibrates, maintains, and operates a wide variety of specialized technical equipment; Effective communication skills, both verbal and written; Knowledge of medical terminology; Demonstrates sound clinical judgment, skills and applies theoretical knowledge; Understanding and practice of Universal Precautions, according to OSHA regulations; Basic computer skills; Ability to adapt to change and manage time. Demonstrated organizational skills and ability to exercise independent judgment in the completion of assignments and duties. Ability to speak and write English language fluently.
