Summary:
Responsible to Trumbull Regional Medical Center for supporting the corporate mission, vision and values. Responsible to Clinical Engineering Department for the installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of patient care and other complex biomedical equipment. Facilitates and ensures safe operation and effective performance of hospital medical devices and systems by conducting approved programs for quality control and assurance. Responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate, timely service.
Salary Range: $23.43 – $26.94

REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of associate degree or equivalent formal technical training in Electronics required.
- Valid Ohio driver’s license and proof of current insurance required.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAJOR DUTIES
- Performs tests, calibration, repair, and preventative maintenance on complex biomedical equipment.
- Maintains documentation of all actions pertinent to each piece of equipment and submits reports/paperwork according to schedule.
- Develops and maintains accurate up-to-date inventory of all clinical equipment and related non-clinical equipment.
- Instructs clinical and other support personnel on the operation, safe use, care and handling, and user maintenance procedures for clinical devices.
- Maintains a reasonable perpetual inventory of parts and equipment needed to provide timely service.
- Maintains knowledge of current standards, codes, and procedures regarding safe effective use of equipment.
- Performs on-call function (schedule rotation) providing in-house repairs and assistance as needed.
- Performs related duties as assigned.
