Position Summary:

The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, under the direct supervision of the OTR/L, assists with the occupational therapy, evaluation, and treatment of patients in individual and group settings on our Geriatric Psychiatric unit. The COTA will also assist with the daily recreational therapeutic responsibilities of the Senior Behavioral Health Program.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• BLS Certification
• Associate’s Degree from ACOTE accredited program; NBCOT certification upon hire
• Licensed in Massachusetts (COTA/L)
• Minimum of one year experience in occupational therapy setting; geri-psych experience preferred
• Meditech experience preferred; Microsoft Outlook and Word
