Position Summary:

Acts as a resource for facility employees particularly with difficult or challenging cases. Performs a variety of duties in preparing patients to be seen in the Pain Management Department, maintains tight control of cost with regards to equipment, supplies, and man hours. Utilizes initiative and independent judgment and assists to oversee operation of Department. Maintains and orders supplies for department. Assists to complete performance appraisals and yearly competencies on their staff. Performs administrative secretarial tasks generally of a highly technical nature. Responsible for patient scheduling, charges, and insurance information.

  • Minimum: 0-1
  • Preferred: 2-4

Licensure/Certification/Education (Required):

  • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Education 3: Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree

Specialized Skills (Required):

  • Communication skills

  • Knowledge of basic office equipment
  • Medical terminology

  • Insurance Pre-certification
