Position Summary:

The Clinical Leader serves as a supervisor and expert practitioner of nursing. He/she oversees and coordinates nursing care to patients with multiple and complex health care needs in the Geri Psych unit. He/she demonstrates well advanced knowledge, skills and techniques in clinical areas. He/she utilizes the nursing process in solving complex issues and demonstrates well advanced leadership skills in directing and delegating clinical care as appropriate.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• In addition to the requirements listed below, candidate must be confident in his/her management skills, an excellent listener, strong problem solver.
• The candidate must also have exceptional customer service skills to handle both internal and external requests and issues.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing is required
• A minimum of 5 years' clinical RN experience and at least 2 years of supervisory experience is required. Nursing experience in a Geriatric Psychiatric setting is strongly preferred.
• Valid MA Registered Nursing license is required
• BLS Required
