Position Summary:

Recognized leadership position that effectively and efficiently manages the operations of the surgical services departments in both Methuen and Haverhill. The incumbent will be well organized and will foster interdisciplinary, collaborative relationships among staff, key physician stakeholders, and other hospital departments.

The Endoscopy Nurse Manager will oversee the Nursing Practice over two (2) campuses. Is responsible for clinical operations, communication, and all day to day management of the Endoscopy departments.

Responsibilities/Skills and Abilities:

  • Develops mechanisms to assess patients (and families) response to nursing care and validates that care provided to patients is consistent with nursing care plan, medical treatment, and is responsive to patient and family expectations
  • Sets and enforces high standards for the quality of patient care delivered on the Endoscopy Units.
  • Provides coaching and education to staff so that they can meet/exceed performance expectations
  • Encourages and facilitates employees’ participation, in unit, departmental and hospital-wide activities that provide opportunities for development.
  • Holds staff accountable for patient and employee safety standards, polices, procedures and practices


BSN required and a current Massachusetts Registered Nursing license with a minimum of 5 years varied and progressive Endoscopy experience preferred.
