Coordinates all patient care activities for PCU/Med Surg Patients. Supervises the Registered Nurses, C.N.A's and Unit Secretaries. Serves as a clinical resource for staff and assists other team members with clinicial duties. Facilitates flow of patients through the department. Works collaboratively with other ancillary departments to facilitate patient care. Actively participates in PI projects in the department and completes daily prevalence rounds. Assists with orientation of new employees and provides feedback to Nursing Manager for employee evaluations.

- Current/Active Florida Registered Nurse License (RN) OR Approved Multi-State License
- Education 3: Technical School/2 Years College/Associates Degree
- American Red Cross OR American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
- American Red Cross OR American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR (BLS)
- Crisis De-escalation training (within 90 days of hire date)
