Job Summary: Performs a variety of imaging procedures, including CAT scan procedures, and is responsible for patient safety protocols. Functions as the first line interface with customers in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates in CQI activities.


  • Technologist is expected to practice safe procedures and adhere to radiation safety measures under the supervision of the CT/XRAY supervisor.
  • Specific duties may include but are not limited to:
  • Interpret Radiologist, and departmental protocols and apply attention to detail.
  • Administration of oral and IV contrast material
  • Perform radiographs, as well as CT on ER and inpatients.
  • Operate XRAY equipment such as portable machine along with CT scanner for optimum imaging.
  • Send images for review of radiologist using PACS and VRAD


  • One year of radiologic/imaging experience.
  • Prefer specific experience and training in CT
  • Documented training and experience in CT preferred


  • Completion with an associate degree of a two-year AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology
  • Current MA license
  • Registered by the ARRT in Radiography and CT
  • Current BCLS certification
  • CEU documentation for the last 2 biennium's

This position is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Steward Health Care Workforce. Employees in this position will be required to provide adequate proof of vaccination for COVID-19 by an FDA-approved vaccine prior to starting work.
