Position Summary:

Under the direction of an RN, assists in patient examination and treatment in the emergency department. Responsibilities include greeting ambulances, taking and recording vital signs, performing EKG’s, assisting with procedure, providing hygiene and nutrition, feed patients as needed, and making rounds on a group of assigned patients, stocking supplies and assisting with cleaning patient care equipment. Answer and make phone call, order entry, data collection, chart management, and prepare charts for transfer or discharge.

Schedule: 24 hour / Night shift

Education: High school graduate or its equivalent

Experience: Previous experience in position preferred.

Certification and Licenses Required: EMT Certified or CNA License and CPR required
