Position Title: Executive Assistant

Job Summary:

Responsible for office management. Performs administrative and budget related duties. Assists the CEO/CNO/CFO. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Demonstrates the ability to order supplies; completes and authorizes requisitions.

Able to put together data from different sources for special projects; prepares reports.

Maintains procedures and controls to promote communication and adequate information flow.

Demonstrates the ability to perform secretarial duties, i.e., typing, dictation, correspondence, preparing reports, memos.

Maintains department records and ensures records are kept confidential.

Answers the telephone in a professional manner; directs calls appropriately.

Communicates appropriately and clearly to the director/manager, coworkers.

Maintains a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments.

Is a resource person both within the department and to administrative staff of other departments.

Demonstrates the ability to schedule meetings between departments, directors/managers.

Demonstrates the ability to be flexible and organized.

Develops data reports based on requests from Director QRM/Compliance.

Copies files, records as requested / directed.

Monday-Friday day shifts with 1-2 evening shifts per month for Board Meetings.

Requirements:

  • Three to five years experience in office management.
  • Minimum Education requirement; High School Diploma or GED

Preferences:

  • Ability to read and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, Additional languages preferred
  • Hospital Administration experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
