I. Position Function:
Under the direction of a cardiologist and the chief exercise technologist, performs services utilizing diagnostic exercise tolerance procedures at a technical level requiring constant supervision.
II. Job Relationships:
Supervised and/or reportable to the following by job category:
- Chief MD. Cardiologist
- Chief Exercise Technologist
- Cardiology Nurse Manager
IV. A. Responsibilities/Essential Functions:
1.) "Provides superior customer service to internal and external clients, customers,
and patients as referenced in the Service Excellence Standards."
Responsible for preparing patients for stress tests.
Assists physicians with ETT.
Monitors patients during and after the test.
Recognize changes in patient activity (i.e., emergency situations and intervenes appropriately).
Assists in administering the exercise treadmill test to patients.

This person shall be accountable for maintaining the confidentiality and security of all hospital-related, medical staff-related, and patient-related data and information.
This person shall be accountable for abiding by all relevant hospital policies and procedures.
High School Diploma, BS. preferred.
Advanced EKG courses, a plus.
Previous experience preferred.
Must read and write English.
CPR certificate required.
