Summary:

Responsible to Insight Hospital and Medical Center Trumbull for supporting the corporate mission, vision and values. Responsible to Fiscal Services for assisting in the coordination of all aspects of decision support, financial analysis, variance reporting and the continuing education of operations management with respect to financial responsibility. Responsible to ensure the financial analysis reports are prepared and reported in accordance with Insight Hospital and Medical Center Trumbull policies. Responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate and timely service.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or other business-related field required.
• Requires at least three years of experience on this or related jobs in a hospital or healthcare facility.

Job Responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

• Establishes standards of best practice, including assessment, documentation, outcome evaluation, Implement and maintain the decision support system, including the coordination of various departments’ roles in that system. Responsibilities include auditing of the system to verify the integrity of the data and other necessary functions.
• Coordinate and manage staff for financial analysis purposes. Responsibilities include responding to on-demand needs of internal and external users and supplying standard monthly data.
• Provide variance reporting on a routine basis. This includes developing methods/reports to identify variances. Also, work with department managers and executive staff to find solutions.
• Oversee the preparation of financial modeling information and financial pro-formas related to various hospital programs and initiatives.
• Assists managers to improve their knowledge of and adherence to financial policies and procedures.
• Provides budget assistance as necessary.
• Maintains an effective working relationship with all levels of operations in order to achieve the goals and objectives of the department and Insight Hospital and Medical Center Trumbull .
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
