JOB SUMMARY

Responsible to Nutrition Services for the nutritional service of patients, customers, employees, and community.⯠Responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate, timely service.

Salary Range: $15.30-$19.83

REQUIREMENTS:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in food services within in the last 5 years required
• Experience or training in Nutrition Service preferred.
• Experience with catering, retail foodservice, cashiering preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAJOR DUTIESâ¯

• Verifies invoices for accuracy, assigns appropriate cost codes, and records/enters transactions.
• Reviews and stores daily deliveries according to standards.
• Prioritizes, assembles and delivers requisitions of food for Nutrition Services Department and other departments.
• Puts ordered stock away.
• Keeps work area and equipment clean.
• Assists in taking physical inventory and order submission.
• Cleans food preparation /service equipment according to standard procedures using proper cleaning methods, equipment, cleaning materials, supplies, and chemical solutions at the proper/use dilution mixture.
• Uses and stores equipment safely, properly, efficiently, and follows instructions.
• Assists with related patient nutritional care, catering/special functions, and retail operations as assigned.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
