Position Summary:
The Performance Improvement Coordinator in collaboration with the Director of Performance Improvement is responsible for assisting in the coordination, integration, and implementation of the organization wide performance improvement activities to ensure compliance with system policies and state/federal regulatory and accreditation standards. Activities include but are not limited to chart reviews, data abstraction for CMS Core Measures and other quality outcomes studies, and staff education regarding core measures and updates regarding new and enhanced performance indicators.

Licensure/Certification/Education (Required):
  1. Current/Active Florida Registered Nurse License (RN) OR Approved Multi-State License

  1. Knowledge of current Joint Commission requirements
  2. Strong written and verbal communication skills
  3. Skills in Performance Improvement tools
  4. Strong computer skills
