Position Summary:
Directs the nursing operations of 2 South and 2 Tower and the Monitor Room Assures that optimal achievable quality of nursing care is provided to all patients. Establishes and meets nursing care objectives. Provides administrative directions for the development and evaluation of all nursing personnel. Maintains operational aspects of the department in collaboration with administration support services. Supports the vision of the institution through the development of goals, objectives and leadership that achieves excellence in service.

  2. Current/Active Florida Registered Nurse License (RN) OR Approved Multi-State License
  3. American Red Cross OR American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  4. American Red Cross OR American Heart Association Basic Life Support CPR (BLS)
Licensure/Certification/Education (Preferred):
List any license, certification or education preferred for this job (e.g. driver's license, RN License, HHA Certification, Master's Degree, etc.)
  1. Critical Care Nursing Certification (CCRN)
  2. Education 4: Bachelor's Degree
  3. Education 5: Master's Degree

  1. Basic nursing principles & practice skills
