About Florence Hospital
Newly opened in July 2019, Florence Hospital, a campus of Mountain Vista Medical Center is a 36-bed hospital offering emergency care, as well as surgical, imaging and laboratory services. The hospital’s experienced team of doctors and nurses work together to provide expert care and the best possible patient experience to residents of Pinal County.
Summary
Performs a wide variety of performs landscaping tasks using power equipment and hand tools to maintain the facility’s grounds. Demonstrates the knowledge and assessment skills necessary to communicate, educate, and provide a therapeutic and safe environment for specific age groups served. Must be able to respect diversity of each individuals values, culture, spiritual beliefs, and other socio-economic issues in addressing the needs of patients, visitors, and co-workers. Effectively interacts with other health team members while maintaining professional standards. Participates in Performance Improvement Activities. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school education or equivalent required.
Vocational or Trade School background preferred.
Previous experience in grounds keeping preferred or the ability to learn and demonstrate competency after successful completion of a training program.
Must process a valid AZ Driver’s License.
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English. Additional languages helpful.
