Human Resources Specialist
Under the general supervision of the Director of Human Resources, the Human Resources Specialist provides general administrative support to the Department while handling specific areas including new hire processing, benefits and leave of absences. Coordinates flow of applicants, visitors and telephone calls. Ensures certain paperwork is processed and forwarded to appropriate individuals. Handles general inquiries relating to benefits and leave of absences. Works closely with Healthcare Recruiter & HR Generalist to prepare for monthly orientation.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
A. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Some college preparatory work preferred.
B. Previous experience in providing administrative support or specialist role in a Human Resources Department preferred.
- Computer skills, knowledge of software, including HR/Payroll Systems, Excel, Word and Lotus Notes preferred.
