Provides assistance, direction and education related to the implementation of the infection control program and associated activities, QI/PI initiatives, data generation and reporting to hospital leadership and regulatory agencies.

ADN/BSN degree preferred or other similar licensure/epidemiological experience
CIC certification required
3 – 5 years of clinical experience in an acute care hospital or public health setting; (infection control experience preferred)
AZ RN license, if applicable, and in good standing
Ability to read, write, and verbally communicate effectively and professionally in English
Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Office Suite and various healthcare applications and programs
Ability to independently learn and utilize multiple programs in a manner to facilitate department processes.
