Infection Prevention RN
Under the general direction of the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO), Quality Assurance Director, Infection Control Manager and Employee Health Nurse, the Infection Prevention RN must demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide a safe environment free of hospital acquired infections, taking into consideration the needs and risk factors appropriate to the age of the patients served. Assists in risk management and workers compensation functions as needed, and assists with hospital safety procedures in order to maintain an environment that optimizes patient safety, and reduces the likelihood of medical/health errors. Other duties as assigned.
- Current Nursing license in the State of Utah.
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing highly preferred.
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of general hospital nursing experience.
- Current BLS (CPR) issued by American Red Cross or American Heart Association Healthcare Provider.
- Knowledge of hospital operations and organization.
- Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
