I love the “climate” at Steward Health Care. From the day I came in for my interview, the staff was warm and receptive. Everyone is helpful, kind and always says “Hi” when you pass in the hallways or on the elevators. But of course, I also love the work we do here. We may be small but we are “mighty” when it comes to taking good care of our patients. I can say the leadership here is sincerely caring about the patients and staff, not just the bottom line, as I have seen elsewhere. The hospital itself is a community, made up of staff who know one another and work to help each other as well as the patients we service. Truly great teamwork. The staff is recognized on an on-going basis for what they contribute, not just during Nurses week or PT week, but always, “shout-outs” for a job well done!

The best part of working at Steward Easton Hospital is the community atmosphere. Staff throughout the organization are engaged and passionate about the organization and the community. Steward being the largest for-profit hospital network in the United States combined with Easton Hospital’s community atmosphere allows for the best of both worlds for the employees. My favorite part about working at Steward Health Care is being able to come into a friendly and non hostile environment every day. The reason for this is because I use to work in a non friendly environment and dreaded coming into work every day. Now that I work for Steward I know that my voice is heard and I know that if I have any issues they will be taken care of at great lengths. I can say that Steward Health Care does in fact care about their employees. If you do what you are supposed to do, it can be a very rewarding to work for this company. They really do care, and nothing goes unnoticed.
