POSITION SUMMARY:

General maintenance of the hospital. Performs routine house calls as assigned by the Department Secretary and/or Department Director/Supervisor. Completes work orders and preventative maintenance request as assigned. Responds to Codes as needed. Reports stock items for building maintenance to be ordered as needed by the department coordinator. Performs other duties as requested by the Department Supervisor and/or Director as needed. Responsible for minor maintenance and repair tasks. Responsible for all interior and exterior grounds included system repairs, general painting, upkeep and related safety issues.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience in general labor or maintenance field preferred

Experience in building/hospital maintenance services preferred
