Summary:

Responsible to Steward Health Care Systems of supporting the corporate mission, vision and values. Responsible to the Medical Imaging Department for the day-to-day operations which provide high quality cost effective, patient care. Responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate, timely service.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Certification in radiologic technology by ARRT or equivalent licensure required.
  • Current Ohio license by the Ohio Department of Health required.
  • Broad knowledge in Medical Imaging. Knowledge of regulatory, legislative and JC standards related to radiology

Job Responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

  • Initiates and implements and organizes the department plans and resources.
  • Directs workforce to accomplish daily services and manages performance improvement program for
  • the department.
  • Assures compliance with regulatory agency standards. Develops and maintains collaborative relationships with outside agencies, medical staff and other departments to improve service and enhance quality.
  • Determines qualifications and competence of department personnel, completes performance
  • appraisals on time based on policy.
  • Responsible for the interdepartmental schedules for employees.
