The Manager of Marketing develops and implements the overall strategic marketing plans for the hospital, service lines, physician practices and other entities as they are determined; develops and produces printed collateral for hospital services and events; responsible for coordinating photography when needed; creates presentations and speeches for CEO; ensures prompt and timely dissemination of news information regarding the hospital and its physicians to the public and hospital staff affiliated with the institution; places advertising in appropriate media as needed; maintains and updates the hospital website; monitors and implements hospital sponsorships for community programs and events; cultivates professional relationships the media and representatives of community organizations; and serves as hospital spokesperson for media inquiries.
Education: BA required, preferably in Journalism/English/Communications/Marketing. Masters in related field desirable.
Experience: Experience in marketing communications field with demonstrated writing, desktop publishing and advertising design expertise. Healthcare marketing background preferred. Computer skills essential. Interest in photography helpful.
