JOB SUMMARY: The following statements are intended to describe the major elements and requirements of the position and should not be taken as an all-inclusive list of responsibilities, duties, and skills required of individuals assigned to this job.
This position is responsible for providing educational support of the Clinical Information Systems to the local Hospital Staff and the Regional Project Managers for Steward facilities in their assigned region. This position also assists the Regional Project Manager in the implementation, education, upgrades and post implementation support for clinical applications. This position will be responsible for meeting with clinical managers, management teams and users to optimize the use of current applications monitor the level of application usage, design and implement educational needs, and route escalated service call needs. It will also be important for this position to develop good working relationships with divisional and departmental directors.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
Experience with handling customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Analytical skills and knowledge to determine and provide sound advice concerning I/S issues related to the operations of the major customer areas and application support.
Experience in computer application used at the hospital level.
