We take great pride in improving the quality of our patient's lives. In our multi-faceted diabetes and endocrine center we see a variety of thyroid patients along with our patients who are diagnosed with diabetes. Many of our patients come in with pumps and/or glucometers and we as Medical Assistants measure their blood sugar. This is a fast-paced clinic where we often enjoy multi-tasking. We answer phones, obtain referrals and authorizations, check in patients and work in our electronic health record system: Athena.
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant Program or 6 month Nurse Aide Program.
- Certified Medical Assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA) preferred
- Current BCLS certification.
