Seeking Full-Time Medical Secretary for Internal Medicine & Family Practice in Hermitage and NE Ohio

Primary Care practice seeking a friendly, responsible and organized Medical Secretary for a busy office. Previous work experience in a physician medical office in an outpatient setting is required.

Proficient & experience with electronic health record, is strongly preferred.

Monday-Friday work schedule, daylight hours, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

You could expect to perform the following tasks:

  • Answering phone calls and triaging calls from patients
  • Overseeing the check-in-out process for visits.
  • Scheduling appointments and follow-up for patients.
  • Calling patients to remind them of their appointments.
  • Computer efficient-experience with Electronic Health Records
  • Processing payments from patients & collecting co-payments.
  • Assisting patients with filling out forms and answering their questions
  • Insurance verification and medical CPT coding & billing procedural knowledge is required.
  • Compiling and recording medical charts, reports and correspondence.
  • Medical Terminology
  • Ordering Supplies & keeping office and waiting room
  • The ability to stay organized, to keep the patient's flow throughout the day running smoothly.
  • Certification from a Technical School in the medical field is desired.
