Medical Technician ICU – 24 Hours/12 Hour Shift/PT Benefits Eligible

Summary: The ICU Technician provides direct patient care as delegated, high level of customer service for patients, family members and visitors, and supports the physical environment by tracking, cleaning, organizing patient care equipment and rooms, maintaining patient supplies by inventory, restocking and organizing supplies daily.

Qualifications: One year of related technical job experience or Phlebotomy experience preferred. EMT or Nursing Aide Certification required. Successful completion of related training program. Basic computer knowledge including EMR, Microsoft documents. High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Minimum skills/abilities: Able to communicate verbal/written English language.

Able to complete mathematical computations required to perform responsibilities.

Able to analyze simple issues and solve them with direction. Proven experience in interacting with individuals and groups. Requires strong organizational skills.

This position is subject to the COVID-19 Vaccination Policy for Steward Health Care Workforce. Employees in this position will be required to provide adequate proof of vaccination for COVID-19 by an FDA-approved vaccine prior to starting work.
