Position Summary:
Performs a wide range of complex clinical laboratory analyses in specific of in all major sections of the Laboratory; recognizes problems, identifies causes, synthesizes alternatives, and applies solutions. Confirms and verifies results through an in-depth knowledge of techniques, principles, and instrumentation. Reports to the Section Head.
Education: Bachelor's degree is Medical Technology or equivalent
Experience: One year experience in clinical laboratory or equivalent
Certification/Licensure: MT (ASCP) or equivalent

This position will be eligible to participate in a comprehensive benefit plan which includes a pension plan as defined below. Pension—Steward shall make bi-weekly contributions to the Nurses and Local 813 IBT Retirement Fund (the “Plan,”) equal to 5% of “W-2 Compensation” earned in a “LMA Position” by each “Eligible Employee” during the applicable bi-weekly period.
