$10,000 Sign On Bonus
Full Time 36 Hours Per Week
Responsibilities:
Routinely works each bench throughout the department as assigned by the department supervisor.
Performs routine analyzer maintenance and initiates troubleshooting as needed.
Verifies, calls, and documents all critical values according to hospital policy.
Reports results in a timely manner. Consistently and appropriately prioritizes STAT specimens.
Participates in and completes all competency-based testing in a timely fashion.
Uses reagents and laboratory materials efficiently and in a cost conscious manner.
Assures optimal use of materials by rotating stock and informing others which reagents should be used first.
Qualifications:
BS or AS in Medical Technology or equivalent required. ASCP certification required- eligible candidates must achieve certification within 1 year. At least one year of hospital laboratory experience preferred.
