Shift: Per-Diem

Position Summary:

The MRI Technologist will perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures and will work under the supervision of the modality supervisory technologist and modality medical director. Perform all technical procedures within the respective modality sections as described in the Radiology Policy Manual. Ensure that all patients have a thorough understanding of the procedure to be performed and communicate relevant information in a compassionate and professional manner to patients undergoing procedures.

The MRI Technologist must have excellent assessment skills, organizational skills, and computer knowledge. Must be able to must be able to move patients and equipment. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing in the English language.

Qualifications:

  • Documented training and experience in MRI preferred
  • Current AHA BLS Certification
  • ARRT registered certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging with RT(MR) designation
  • ARRT registered certification in Radiography with RT(R) designation preferred
  • Massachusetts DPH Radiologic Technologist Radiography (Full/General) license
