Position Summary:
Functions as a materials coordinator for Surgical Services. Implements and maintains par levels for all supplies. Supervises the supplies purchased for the operating room. Supervises the inventory process throughout the year and the bi-annual inventory count events. Inputs charges, follows up on orders, works with the sales reps, prepares capital CER packets and maintains the Tissue Tracker.

Licensure/Certification/Education (Required):

  1. Education 2: Technical School/1 Year College
Specialized Skills (Required):
List the minimum specific knowledge and skills necessary to perform this job (e.g., homecare exp., med/surg exp., basic accounting principles/practices, spreadsheets, word processing, etc.)
  1. Typing and computer skills
  2. knowledge of surgical supplies & equipment
  3. Knowledge of Operating Room equipment
