POSITION SUMMARY:
The Emergency Medical Technician and Paramedic will assess injuries, administer emergency medical care, and extricate trapped individuals. The EMT will observe, record, and report to the physician the patient’s condition or injury, the treatment provided, and reactions to drugs or treatment. Performs first-aid and emergency diagnostic and treatment procedures such as stomach suction, airway management, and heart monitoring during ambulance ride. In addition, the EMT will transport injured or sick persons to medical facilities
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Texas Paramedic or EMT certification required
- Valid Texas Driver's License with clean driving record

A stringent cleaning policy has been implemented throughout the hospital.
A strictly controlled visitor and masking policy is required for patient safety.
