Location: Rockledge Regional Medical Center

Provides support to mental health patients on an inpatient psychiatric unit to assist with crisis intervention and providing appropriate resources. Typical duties include conducting psychosocial assessments, developing personalized care plans, assisting families in understanding the implications and complexities of the mental health diagnoses and available resources, and working with an interdisciplinary team to create a safe discharge plan. Also provides individual, group, and family therapy to meet the social and emotional needs of patients and their families. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. Works under general supervision, and typically reports to a senior case manager. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Requires a Master’s degree in Social Work and 2-4 years of experience in the field or in a related field. Weekends are a required part of the schedule. Position also includes health care benefits (part-time only).

  • Minimum: 2-4
  • Preferred: 5-8

Licensure/Certification/Education (Required):

  • Education: Master's Degree
  • Crisis Prevention/Intervention Training Certification (CPI) (within 90 days of hire date)
  • AHCA Level II Background Screening
