This position supports the Saint Anne’s Hospital Fernandes Center for Children and Families.
Founded in 1997, the Fernandes Center provides coordinated, family-centered care services in one location for outpatient evaluation, diagnosis and treatment to children with diverse developmental, behavioral, or special health care concerns. It was named for Sister Joanna Fernandes, OP, former chair of the hospital's board of trustees, in honor of her support of care for the region’s children and their families.

Provides diagnostic child and parent evaluations relative to situations of potential sexual abuse. Provides direct clinical services to children and their families, conducts ongoing case management for clinical caseload and clients in the referral process. Other related duties.
Minimum Education Requirements:
MSW from an accredited graduate school of social work.
Minimum Work Experience:
Five years post MSW in direct service with children and families who have experienced sexual abuse, including at least three years experience working with families presenting a wide variety of mental health issues and sexual abuse issues. Minimum two years supervisory experience preferred.
Other skills and abilities:
Formal training in pediatric sexual abuse evaluation protocols required.
Massachusetts social work license required. LICSW required.
