Responsible to Steward Health Care System for supporting the corporate mission, vision and values. Responsible to Pharmacy for assuring that the drug therapy needs of the patient are met. Responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate, timely service.
Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy required
Current Ohio license as a pharmacist by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy required
Current registration as a pharmacist by the Ohio State Board of Pharmacy required
After orientation, up to 3 month’s experience on this job is required to perform essential functions and to handle emergency situations
RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAJOR DUTIES
- Provides pharmacy services to optimize pharmaceutical care.
- Provides drug information to patients/health care professionals.
- Exercises applicable legal and professional controls for controlled substances maintained/dispensed.
- Meets administrative requirements of the department.
- Performs other related duties as assigned
