Job Duties:
- Draws and collects blood samples from patients, verifies records and prepares specimens for lab analysis. May prick finger to draw blood.
- May conduct interviews, take vital signs, and draw and test blood samples to screen donors at blood bank.
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Works under immediate supervision. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.
- Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Phlebotomy Certification and/or Equivalent (preferred)
- Phlebotomy Training Program (preferred)
- CPR (preferred)
- One Year Minimum experience (preferred)
- Background Clearances (as required by law)
