Responsible to Physical Therapy for carrying out physical therapy patient treatment plan and contributing to overall efficient departmental function. Responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate, timely service.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associate degree in physical therapy from a college or technical school required.
Current Ohio license as Physical Therapy Assistant by the Ohio OT, PT, AT Board required.
Certification in Basic Life Support by the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross required or obtain certification within one month of employment.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND MAJOR DUTIES
Administers physical therapy programs or portions thereof, as planned and directed by the physical therapist.
Documents patient progress.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Any COVID-19 related care takes place in designated areas away from other patients and their families. Emergency Departments are reorganized to be a safe place to treat all emergency patients. A stringent cleaning policy has been implemented throughout the hospital. A strictly controlled visitor and masking policy is required for patient safety.
