Plumber - 40 hours

Install, repair and maintain domestic hot/cold water systems and waste water systems; Install, repair and maintain Dietary Department and Laboratory Department equipment, sterilizers, washers, distillers etc.; Maintain medical gas piping and equipment; Perform welding, brazing and soldering duties; Maintain forced hot water heating piping and chilled water piping systems; Perform planned maintenance duties as assigned by Facilities Manager; Perform all other duties as
assigned or directed

Assist the Facilities Manager in planning the daily workload,
the general maintenance schedule and the Planned Maintenance Schedule; Assist the Facilities Manager in maintaining adequate job specific stock or supplies for proper maintenance of all buildings assigned; Perform general demolition/construction/renovation work as required; Work
harmoniously with outside contractors in the execution of their duties as required; Maintain assigned equipment and work area in a clean, safe and orderly manner; Report defective equipment to department supervision immediately; Complete all work assigned in a timely and professional manner; Submit all completed work orders in a timely manner; Review work orders with department supervision as required; Adhere to department and Medical Center policies and procedures;
Assist other tradesmen in the execution of their duties as required by supervision; Perform a wide variety of trade related duties providing proper maintenance of the Medical Center; Report code violations to department supervision immediately; Drive Medical Center's vehicle as required...Moderate physical effort; frequent lifting, walking, bending, stooping, pushing, and pulling; Frequent periods of concentration requiring attention to detail; Frequent opportunity for diversification of tasks.
