The network is also responsible for the implementation and execution of our managed care contracts, medical management services, quality improvement programs, data analysis, and information services.

Position Purpose: The Program Manager responsibilities are twofold: (1) driving performance and managing the implementation of SHCN initiatives to support individuals with Behavioral Health and Social Determinants of Health (SDOH)) needs (including Mass Health grant work) and (2) logistical project management for other non-BH/SDOH care management initiatives (i.e. quality tracking). In this position, the Program Manager will manage program development, implementation, financial planning and programmatic monitoring and evaluation. The Program Manager position will operate in a highly matrixed environment, liaising across operational and business teams as well as external vendors. The ideal candidate will be a self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks/programs while maintaining excellent communication with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the implementation of grant funded programs from design and implementation through program evaluation.
  • Develops and implements detailed project plans including milestone timelines, risk mitigation plans, and communication plans.
  • Creates and coordinates resources, presentations, workflow diagrams, and patient engagement materials to support project implementation.
  • Identifies key performance metrics, develops systems to track key metrics, and monitors and evaluates progress and results of strategic initiatives
  • Reports on project implementation and results in formats appropriate to all key stakeholders, escalating high-risk issues as appropriate and necessary.
  • Conduct research and analysis, identify best practices and opportunities for improvement, and provide recommendations and solutions to support strategic initiatives.

Education / Experience / Other Requirements

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Required, Master’s preferred

Years of Experience:

  • 5-7 years of related experience

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Proven success in leading complex, highly visible projects within a large healthcare provider organization setting
  • Experience launching and running successful care redesign initiatives for underserved communities, preferably with experience in SUD and SDOH programs
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership skills within a team environment, take control of situations when appropriate and achieve results, and take initiative in representing issues and potential solutions to management.
  • Experience and understanding of Project Management methodologies, life cycle, and, ability to manage and drive projects towards a successful outcome.
  • Solid foundation of knowledge of Project Management software tools (i.e. MS Project, MS Excel, Innotas, etc.)
