Under the direction of the Quality Manager/Director will serve as Quality department lead in support of the hospital’s key service line programs. Duties include but not limited to, coordinate registries implementation/abstraction, development of reports/charts/graphs/dashboards specific to the programs, coordination of program needs with the service line Program Specific Coordinators. Perform other department responsibilities, functions related to regulatory compliance and patient safety activities, peer review and performance improvement activities.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS (including required licenses/certifications, education and job knowledge/experience):

Bachelor’s degree in healthcare related field

Florida RN required

Three (3) years in acute care healthcare setting preferred

Understanding of the principles of continuous quality improvement required.

Computer proficiency to include the used of software such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, EHR, Traditional / Web based online resources/registries.

Able to organize people and resources effectively and efficiently to obtain positive outcomes.

Must be flexible to handle a variable workload, frequent work interruptions, deadlines, priority changes and multiple opinions/viewpoints. Must be able to deal effectively with management, administration, medical staff and ancillary departments. Able to problem-solve with minimal direction
