POSITION SUMMARY: Accurately "sets up" daily treatments and checks monitor units to be delivered, and administers the prescribed dose of Radiation, as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. Collaborates with all members of the health care team to help resolve the patient's health related problems and communicates patient's problems/needs to the other professional staff and documents such in the EMR. Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Required Education/Licensing:
Graduate of AMA accredited Radiation Therapy Technology Program and registered by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists(ARRT). Must be licensed by the Florida Department of Health, Bureau of Radiation Control.
Current CPR card.
Required Work Related Experience:
Minimum of 1 year active experience in Radiation Therapy Technology, preferred.
