Job Summary: Nashoba Valley Medical Center in Ayer, MA is looking for a full-time referral coordinator/receptionist for to join our team. The candidate must be professional, polite, dependable, punctual, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Computer experience essential, must be able to learn multiple software programs quickly, work independently, efficiently, and effectively.
Responsibilities:
  • Works closely with Medical Records, Billing, and Financial Counselors to ensure therapy visits are covered.
  • Meets the communication needs of the patient/family, departmental staff and medical staff.
  • Implements directions from the physicians and rehab staff.
  • Provides cross coverage and for administrative support duties in PT, OT, Speech, EEG, EMG and Sleep Lab.
Qualifications:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent;
  • One year experience in office setting or hospital setting preferred.
  • Experience with billing and insurance preferred.
Salary: $16.13+
