Summary:

Responsible to Trumbull Regional Medical Center for supporting the corporate mission, vision and values. Responsible to Nursing Services for supporting the nursing philosophy and providing high quality, comprehensive patient care. Responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate, timely service. Responsible to Nursing Services for supporting the nursing philosophy and providing high quality, comprehensive patient care. Responsible to the customer for courteous, accurate, timely service.

Minimum Qualifications:

• manager required.
• Certification in ACLS and PALS required

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing required. Master’s degree in nursing preferred.
• Current license as a registered nurse by the Ohio Board of Nursing required.
• Certification in BCLS by the American Heart Association required. Previous experience as a manager required.
• Requires up to 4 years RN experience in a hospital or healthcare facility to develop the judgment necessary to make appropriate decisions and to handle emergency situations.
• Knowledge of regulatory, legislative and JCAHO standards related to patient care

Job Responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

• Performs as a team leader of multi-skilled workers to accomplish plan of care for each patient.
• Leads multi-skilled team to provide high quality, cost-effective, comprehensive patient care.
• Independently, makes sound judgments and effective decisions relative to patient care.
• Performs all skills on the Registered Nurse Equipment/Skills checklist.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
