Registered Nurse - Oncology; 32hrs/ 1st shift
The RN is responsible for providing direct patient care based on the nursing process within assigned work periods. He/she functions as a member of a multidisciplinary team to achieve outcomes consistent with the comprehensive plan of care. The RN participates in activities to achieve clinical, financial and organizational outcomes.
Minimum Education Requirements:
Associate’s degree or diploma from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
MA RN license and BLS for all areas. OCN strongly preferred. ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy Provider Card required.
One to three years Med/Surg. Nursing experience. Previous oncology experience preferred. OCN certification must be obtained within two years of hire.
Certification Required: MA RN license and BLS for all areas. OCN and Radiation Nursing experience preferred. BLS Required.
